Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of sexually assaulting teenager in new lawsuits

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a series of allegations, including claims of rape, sexual abuse, and assault, after six lawsuits were filed in New York federal court on Monday. The lawsuits, brought by two women and four men, allege incidents spanning more than two decades, from 1995 to 2021.

Several of the accusers claim that the assaults took place during parties hosted by Combs, which were renowned for their A-list guest lists, including celebrities and influential music artists. These events, often held in luxurious settings, have now become central to the lawsuits as locations where the alleged abuse occurred.

Combs’ legal team quickly responded to the allegations, denying any wrongdoing. He mentioned that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone wether an adult or minor, man or woman.

One of the lawsuits involves allegations from a man who claims he was just 16 years old when he attended one of Combs’ famous parties in the Hamptons in 1998. According to the lawsuit, the teenager, excited to receive an invitation to what was considered a premier event for celebrities, encountered Combs during the gathering.

While initially discussing the music industry, the accuser alleges that Combs led him to a more private area, where he suddenly ordered the teenager to undress. The lawsuit includes a photograph of the two together at the party, with the accuser’s face blurred out.

The lawsuit further claims that Combs called the situation “a rite of passage” and suggested that complying would be a step toward fame. The music mogul allegedly told the teen he had the “right look” to become a star.

Another case filed on Monday involves a woman who alleges that Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004 when she was a 19-year-old college student. According to her lawsuit, she first met Combs during a photoshoot, after which he invited her and a friend to attend a private party at his hotel. Upon arrival, the lawsuit claims, Combs sexually assaulted her despite her repeated pleas for him to stop.

Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the accusers, said he is currently working with over 100 individuals who plan to file lawsuits against Combs for sexual assault, rape, and exploitation. Some of these alleged victims were children at the time of the incidents. The lawsuits are being filed under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act.

Tony Buzbee mentioned in a statement that they will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves and they will work to see that justice is done. He added that he expects to file additional lawsuits in the coming weeks as his legal team gathers more evidence.

These recent filings are part of a growing number of civil cases brought against Combs, who is also facing federal criminal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. His trial is scheduled for May 2025. As os now Combs has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklym. His lawyers’ request for bail was denied, with a federal judge citing Combs as a “serious flight risk.”

Combs has consistently denied all charges, both civil and criminal.
