For the first time, the Student Activities Board (SAB) hosted a Disney-themed trivia night and it exceeded all expectations. A total of 96 students attended this event, according to the list of sign up sheets for teams.

The turnout was not what SAB was planning for, as SAB did not expect such a large turnout. Vice President of SAB Amanda Desrochers said, “I did not expect this many people to come so I’m really happy that everyone’s here and having fun.”
Junior Meghan Cleary really enjoyed the trivia night.
“It’s really fun,” she said. “I like that they keep playing Disney music.”
This Disney Trivia Night has been in the works for quite awhile, but almost didn’t happen because the old programmer had to step down from her SAB eboard position. Desrochers explains “The position is open right now so our president (Kyle Cataldo) and vice-president (Desrochers) planned tonight’s event.”

For those interested, the in-house coordinator position for SAB is available. Desrochers said “The position is a lot of kind of like your DIY events like Bingo, trivia, or the craft nights we typically do.”

This was a success, as Desrochers noticed that people were happy and excited about the trivia questions. Whether you wanted to come for moral support or because you loved Disney, many students were getting excited about the Disney themed event.
Cleary said that “My friends are really knowledgeable about Disney. I don’t know much about it, but I came to help them and to support them for moral support.”
Be on the lookout for a similar SAB event in the near future.
