On Nov. 14, the second annual Flag Football Tournament was held in Growney Stadium.
The event was organized by Colleges Against Cancer and Student Activities Board. The teams had to have six people on a team with one female on each team.
The entry fee was $3 per person and the money raised from the event will go to Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. There were 10 teams that competed against one another.
When speaking with Lindsey Michaud, a member of CAC, about the event she said, “We just wanted to do a fun athletic event that appealed to the athletes on campus.”
Keep your eyes open for more events from CAC. Relay for Life is coming up on March 31, and this year the theme is board games.
