It was a night full of music, poetry, dance, and many other unique talents. On Nov. 11, Fisher Players hosted a talent show called “Fisher’s Got Talent,” the first of its kind. The event took place at 8 p.m. in Cleary Auditorium.

This show was a change as Fisher Players usually host a cabaret night, but this year decided to mix it up to include a larger variety of talents. The crowd seemed enthusiastic and excited to see the many talents of Fisher students.

The audience got to vote for the winner of the show. Jon Bonn won 1st place with his spot-on impressions that seemed to really amazed and entertain the crowd. The act that was voted “Fan Favorite” was a duo whose act was dubbed Bouncing off the Walls.

The show seemed to be a hit. Mitch Lalik, a member of Fisher Players, said, “the show definitely exceeded any expectations, when we use to do cabaret, we would usually only have about 25-30 people and this talent show brought in about 250 to 300 people.”

There was a special surprise at the end of the show. The audience was treated to seeing a number performed by Joe Gala and Giuliana Calascibetta from Grease, which Fisher Players will be putting on Nov. 18th through the 20th.

This show was a hit and will most likely be happening again in the future.
